I thought it would be fun to have a venue for the work of my students and friends who are artists, with a little of mine thrown in on the side.

A PASTEL FOR WANDA'S ART CHALLENGE
Today one of my students, Tina Eibl, came to class with this pastel drawing from one of the photographs in the latest challenge. It was done on sandpaper!
Lori, I didn't know if you heard that one of our artist (Crusty Crone) passed away suddenly on October 6, 2010. I have put a short tribute to her and some of her artwork that was not part of the Art Challenge. She was such a delightful person. She was crusty, but that's what we loved about her.
Lori ~ Just click on the Mr. Toast emblem on my post and it will take you to Mr. Toast.
Basically it is a "virtual" party. You post pictures of your outfit (gooogleimages.com) There are about 18 other folks (artists too) that join in on the fun.
Hope you'll join us too.
The Date of the Tea Party is Dec. 5th. But you can add things up to that date.

Lori and Tina Thank YOU! What a lovely rendering in pastels.
I have posted it on the Art Blog.

A new art challenge is up! Doing boats and water this time.
Found so nice photos on line so come on over and check it out. Perhaps your students would like to participate.
As usual, no deadline, just let me know when you have something ready to post.

I thought I had commented on this before. What a great job she did.
